Colin Scott, a great mixer, invented Chivas 18-year-old. It is a blended whisky created from Speyside malt from Strathisla and more than twenty single malts from Scotland. It also took home a trophy from the 2014 International Wine & Spirits Competition (IWSC).
Notes on Tasting:
Aroma: Spice infusion, malted barley, and orange peel.
First taste: dark chocolate, marmalade, and a hint of wood.
Aftertaste: Oak and spice.
Overall Experience: Several flavours are well-balanced, and the aftertaste lingers for a long time.
